Gary Galbraith is a contemporary art furniture maker and artist specializing in Contemporary Art Furniture, Custom Art Furniture, Custom Art Glass and moreSince all of my work is custom designed, I do not have work on the shelf ready to ship for a fixed price. This means that you and I need to begin with a phone interview to discuss the function of the piece of furniture and the major design elements. Once the theme of the piece is determined, I will offer various solutions that include the creative embellishments. If you live in the Northwest, such as Washington State, I would like to meet with you, within the setting for this custom work, and discuss some sketches. I can then show you samples of hardwoods and glass so that you can visualize the colors.

I have also made small models from sketches so that clients can visualize the sculptural form. In other cases I have made full size cardboard shapes so that they can be viewed in the context of other pieces in the room. While the work is in progress I have taken digital photos and emailed them to clients so that they are updated.

Once we have mutually reworked the design to your satisfaction, we will establish a budget and price for the work. I will need an initial deposit of 50% to be paid prior to purchasing materials and beginning construction of the piece. The remainder of the price is due upon completion and prior to shipping or delivery.

My studio is located on my home property in Central Washington State. Within my home are many of my pieces of creative work, which includes many functions from doors to lighting and clocks. I reside only 10 miles off of I-90 and I-82 and would like to show you my work by appointment, please.
